Ben, who turned 18 in January is an exciting fast bowling prospect, and had been part of the Cambridgeshire Academy Pathway, and has now joined up Warwickshire's Emerging Player Programme following a successful trial season with Warwickshire County Age Groups.

Last season with Histon CC, Kavanagh was the joint leading wicket taker with 29 1st team wickets, at an impressive average of just 22.

1st XI captain James Middleton commented "As a club we are excited to be able to bring Ben to Station Road for the forthcoming season. What we have seen in the nets so far, we like very much, and we are looking forward to watching his progression with us this season."

K&D open our Birmingham League season with a home fixture to Barnards Green CC on Saturday 4th May.
